About Me
NextGenTechnologist
My Journey
Hey, I'm Jesse. I'm a Marine Corps veteran who moved from flight lines to firewalls. High-pressure problem solving fit naturally with cybersecurity. I'm earning my Cybersecurity degree at Southern New Hampshire University and I love protecting systems while learning every day. The Marines taught discipline, calm under stress, and attention to detail. I bring that to every build and every config.
What I Do
I focus on building secure, scalable applications while documenting my learning journey. My technical interests include:
- Cybersecurity fundamentals and OWASP best practices
- Full-stack web development (Next.js, React, Node.js)
- IT support and systems administration
- Python, Java, Rust, and C++ programming
I turn complex topics into practical steps. Tech shouldn't be gatekept. It should be shared.
NextGenTechnologist
Next Gen Technologist is my hub for real lessons from the journey.
I believe in sharing knowledge openly, learning in public, and helping others avoid the mistakes I have made along the way. Whether you're a veteran, a student, or a curious builder, you'll find clear guidance and honest wins and losses. My goal is confidence, skills, and a path into tech for anyone who shows up.
Signal Bloom Studios
When I'm not deep in labs, I work with my fiancée on Signal Bloom Studios It's our creative space for design, photography, and tech that connects with people.
Let's Connect
